Overview
PowerShield’s Simple Network Managment Protocol (SNMP) cards offer a choice of remote management options. Control and monitor one or multiple UPS systems and perform management tasks including scheduled shutdowns, startups, and reboots by simply installing the Lite, V4 or Cyber Secure SNMP Card.
The PowerShield SNMP V4 has increased levels of security and supports virtual machine environments such as VMware and Hyper-V. It offers Modbus TCP/IP support.
· Real-time dynamic graphs of UPS data (voltage, frequency, load level, battery level)
· Historic data log stored in centralised PC database
· Simple firmware upgrade with one click
· Warning notifications via audible alarm, broadcast, mobile messenger, e-mail and SNMP traps
· Password security protection and remote access management
The SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) card allows the UPS to be directly connected to the network, without the need of a local computer. Furthermore, the SNMP card contains an integrated webserver CPU, allowing the IT Manager to view and control the UPS and power events with any standard internet browser. This card is easily configured for virtual machine environments such as VMware and HyperV.
